Press release: Aachen, 16 December 2025: At E-world 2026, KISTERS will present its cloud-based IT platform designed for the central processes of the energy industry. The focus will be on the new portfolio management and trading solution, the comprehensive cross-role platform for low-voltage grid control, and scalable metering point operation systems. From 10 to 12 February, the Aachen-based IT company for the energy industry will demonstrate at stand 1E140 how a modern, digitally connected energy industry can be realised securely and economically: consistently process-oriented – across role boundaries. KISTERS solutions are security-certified, quickly available in the KISTERScloud, and are market-proven, particularly among municipal utility cooperatives and service providers.
‘The energy industry needs highly automated, secure and consistent solutions in order to manage change successfully,’ says Dr Markus Probst, Head of the Energy Division at the KISTERS Group. ‘Over the last few years, we have consistently rethought the KISTERS platform, and we are proud to now be able to offer modern, cloud-native solutions for many processes. We are bringing another highlight to E-world in Essen (Germany) this year.”
Premiere: The new portfolio management and trading platform, “BelVis+ PFM”.
A key highlight at the trade fair will be the launch event for the new “BelVis+ PFM” portfolio management solution for European energy trading. Interested parties and the press will be given an exclusive preview at E-world.
Launch event: Tuesday, 10 February at 4 p.m. in Hall 1 at Stand E140.
BelVis+ PFM has been completely redesigned for European energy trading: It is cloud-based, modular and flexible, and will officially launch on the market in June 2026. Thanks to its high degree of automation, modern technology, ease of use and simple integration, BelVis+ PFM is significantly more performant than conventional portfolio management systems.
Controlling low-voltage systems with digital twins.
KISTERS presents a comprehensive, cross-role IT platform that enables grid operators, metering point operators and suppliers to manage technical and economic flexibility in low-voltage grids. Consistency of processes between market roles enables the implementation of efficient control strategies, ensuring grid stability (Section 14a EnWG, German Energy Industry Act; Section 9 EEG, German Renewable Energy Act) and dynamic tariffs (Section 41a EnWG, German Energy Industry Act). Role-specific digital twins are used to automate control and switching processes on a large scale: These largely autonomous systems carry out the regulated processes of the respective market role, integrating incoming (online metering) data and sending control signals. Grid operators can also use the KISTERS platform to fulfil their future obligation to demonstrate the controllability of their facilities (Section 12 EnWG, German Energy Industry Act).
Metering point operation and meter data management: Scalable, secure and economical processes.
For efficient, responsible and competitive metering point operation, KISTERS presents its specialised MSB Cockpit (Metering point operator, MPO Cockpit), which is quickly available in the KISTERScloud. The MSB Cockpit supports all processes related to device management, gateway administration, data provision and CLS management. The MSB Cockpit provides cost-effective operation, even for large installation portfolios, and reliable data provision in the face of increasing regulatory requirements.
For the energy sector and industry.
The KISTERS platform also includes the customer portal for dynamic tariffs for suppliers, as well as the mathematical optimisation solution for profit maximisation, CO2 reduction and the design and use of large batteries for energy-intensive industries. It also includes tried-and-tested control systems for distribution and low-voltage networks.
