Consultant (f/m/d) for Water Quality and Biological Data Solutions

How you can contribute:

  • Provide technical support and consulting services for water quality and biological data management software solutions
  • Offer helpdesk support for KISTERS environmental (water) solutions, including KiWQM, KiECO and WISKI products
  • Analyze and test support requests, coordinate software fixes with developers in Germany
  • Handle software installations, updates and prepare demonstrations for customers
  • Participate in national and international projects with technical and domain expertise (e.g., data migration, automation, scripting, applying statistics)
  • Address client-specific requirements and create technical concept documents
  • Provide advisory services in support of KISTERS products

Your Qualification

  • Background in Environmental Science, Biology, Water Science, Hydrology, Resource and Environmental Management, Geography, Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
  • Team-player mentality with a willingness to learn from senior specialists
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new IT products, applications and technologies
  • Understanding of biological and/or hydrological systems and their management
  • Experience in scripting languages or willingness to develop skills (Python, Perl, or JavaScript)
  • Very good written and oral communication skills in English are required, German is a plus
