WISKI TV. Earlier Awareness, Better Decisions: With Optimised Visualisation.
WISKI TV
Water Resources Management
We are proud to present WISKI TV, a user friendly, intuitive tool for the immediate and rapid visualisation of time series. WISKI TV is a streamlined solution with comprehensive functionalities, whose core components comprise both time series graphs and time series tables, which have already proven themselves as a part of the WISKI core system. WISKI TV is - irrespective of time series type - the right tool for you, whether you need to display 15 or 60 minute data intervals, irregular impulses or daily, monthly, or yearly values.
You can download a demo version of WISKI-TV, which you can use for 30 days. After this period you need a valid code for the further use of WISKI-TV. Download >>
Intuitive controls
Simplified import of special or standard file formats (extensible) irrespective of measurement intervals in the time series
Simple option to read time series data via remote request or serial interface
User friendly graph and table display and editing of loaded time series data
Unlimited number of graph windows and time series in each graph (unlimited adding and removing)
Multi-parameter table for table comparisons of multiple time series within a single table
Numerous configuration options for graphical display, e.g. line style, axis scale, grid, labelling
Simple “Browse” function for displayed time range with distinct intervals (day, month, year)
Display in standard time or winter time
Save function for custom layout templates for graphic display
Save and Export functions of loaded time series data into other file formats
Maintenance free local database for basic and time series data
Multilanguage capable
All Windows functions are available in graphs and tables, e.g. WYSIWIG, drag & drop, copy & paste, undo & redo and print
Data loggers and readers
The WISKI TV time series viewer was initially designed for flexibility in its capability to read any data logger and file format. All common collection devices and file formats in the time series management field have already been implemented: e.g. readers by the manufacturers OTT (Thalimedes data logger, Hydram2 portable terminal, VOTA multi functional device, etc.) and SEBA (MDS3 data logger, Floater, HT100 portable terminal, LG100 reader, etc.), and the MICROBIT portable terminal. For data import, the currently implemented formats include the standard CSV format, which can be generated in any spreadsheet software such as Excel, and the ZRXP, UVF, DDP, CMS, HYDRAS, DEMAS, HZB, MDS, MTX formats, and many more. Several script driven import interfaces are also available.
Representation in graphs and tables
Both graphical and tabular time series representation offer all the benefits of the options already available in the WISKI core system, e.g. unlimited zoom levels, time axis shift, auto scaling, scrolling in freely defined areas, comprehensive editing functions for values within the graph and many more useful features. The user has various setup options to choose from, ranging from graph layout options to saving personal layout configurations.
Data analysis
Several easily accessible functions are available for data analysis, with which mean, minimum and maximum values may be determined. In addition, functions for free formula calculation and duration curves are available.
Time series and basic data
Time series data, once loaded and edited, may be saved or exported into other file formats (e.g. the CSV format) for later editing in external systems The integrated print feature includes a print preview from which you can print your personally configured graphs on all common printer types at any time.
An optional local database allows you to manage high numbers of stations and time series. Time series data can be imported to and exported from the local database at any time. A powerful tool facilitates importing a large number of time series data, making it possible to directly record entire tree structures. Stations and time series basic data are created automatically during the import of time series data into the local database, so no further configuration is needed. In order to simplify the selection of stations and time series, this data is displayed in a tree structure similar to the Explorer. The easy to use WISKI TV search functions produce quick results where comprehensive data records are present.
'Light' database
The optional local database is maintenance free, which means that no expert knowledge of database administration is required. Security is also not a problem, since the local database consists of a single file.
Map display with GIS functionality
The WISKI TV map module uses map display with GIS functionality to provide the desired overview of the spatial location of the station network. Localised basic station data provides the basis for all data managed by WISKI TV in the local database. All stations can be found on the map. Furthermore, additional objects freely defined in the basic data may also be displayed on the map. Common vector and grid data formats are accepted as map levels. The map module supports projection, i.e. vector, grid, and base data information can be located in different coordinate systems, and will be projected for display in a common coordinate system. This function is particularly useful if the area to be displayed covers several UTM zones.
