For automation of operating processes: WISKI Service Provider.
WISKI WSP
Water Resources Management
Key Features
The WSP system is a server application for the task-controlled automation of work processes. The application of the WSP allows the user to be relieved from routine, repetitive tasks. Such work processes include:
Import, export and conversion of data from various formats (e.g. XML, ZRXP, CSV, Excel)
Data transfer (e.g. FTP, SFTP, KRPC)
Sending and receiving of Emails
Administration operations (e.g. database security, data archiving)
Creation of standard reports
Flood warning service
Data preparation for intranet and internet applications
Automation for the above mentioned functions
What the WSP can offer...
In order to guarantee reliable automation mechanisms, there is a need for a diverse range of ser-vices. These range from task and configuration management to control and protocol procedures.
Task manager
A task manager deals with the addressing and automatic execution of your tasks. Tasks can be started either immediately, periodically or at a later point in time. They can also be triggered simultaneously from multiple computers.
A simple, transparent and flexible application protocol allows tasks and data to be transferred to the WSP for processing. The option is available to register on the system via FTP, http, KRPC or SAOP/HTTP. Alternatively a directory can be used as an interface to the WSP.
Output interfaces
A SOAP interface allows the WSP to communicate with the WISKI and BelVis application ser¬vers. This would then enable graphs, reports or specific export options to be accessed.
Configuration management
The flexible and powerful configuration management tool allows the user to determine the range of functions of the WSP. This allows functions to be connected, to provide a service. These functions exist in the form of modules and together with programmes, can be run in a form similar to a batch. These functions and programmes are applied in increasingly new combinations to deal with new challenging tasks.
The further integration of specific functions or programmes is, on the whole also possible.
WSP control is a Web application that facilitates the access to the WSP system. The main as-pects of WSP control are:
Process control:
Individual WSP processes can be controlled from each computer through the connection to the WSP servers.
Evaluation of protocols:
Various filter options and the coloured display of events facilitate the analyses of relevant protocols.
Integration and configuration of the WSP services:
Service profiles ensure the simple, rapid and secure integration and configuration of the WSP services. A service profile can be selected. Service parameters and descriptions are also offered in the dialog.
