Inter- and Intranet Access on WISKI DataWater Resources Management System KISTERS - the Water Resources Information System"
... allows user interactions in an extensive way (free specification of time periods, filter criteria).
Maps
WISKI Web Pro comes with its own map server software and client system. Basic functions such as navigation, identification and combination of different map layers are available. The service needs GIS data in common formats (shape files, tiff/geotiff). Visualisation is borderless, scale independent and is not based on predefined shape and image libraries.
In addition to the representation of station positions the system allows the display of current data (e.g. last monitored water stage) by point symbols (size, colour) or point labels (text). survey map
Station lists
Through the use of spatial selection (in the map) or by user defined selection WISKI Web produces station lists. These lists can be sorted by table columns and all fields are - if possible - related with deeper information via hyperlinks (click on station results in a page with station details; click on a river results in a river list). station list
Station details
This page shows the station information in detail. Furthermore WISKI Web Pro provides small cartographic icons showing the station location and a list of the available time series. The user can determine the time periods and generate time series graphs and data tables. station details more station details
Time series data
Time series data can be viewed graphically or in lists. If permitted by the WISKI Web user administration, this data can also be opened with Excel and exported in certain file formats. It can also be easily downloaded in a typical WISKI export.
