Software Benefits for Dam Operation and Safety. Essential efficiency and continuity.
WISKI
Water Resources Management
Archiving and Management of Measured and Structural Data
Measured and structural data can be directly archived and managed from different sources (automatic and manual registering measuring device banks, process control systems, manual collection during observation and checking trips, remote calls, external data, data archives).
All relevant parameters are made available for structural monitoring: Water level, volume (for example dam content), discharge/flow and amount (ex. for ground drainage, overflow, seepage), velocity, all types of pressures (ex. uplift pressure under the dam/manometer pressures), subsidence and shift parameters, water and air temperature, precipitation, wind (velocity and direction), turbidity, all types of rating curve relationships (ex. water level content/volume, water level discharge), weir formulae, capacity etc.
All measured and structural data can be stored centrally and continuously in one database. WISKI offers an extraordinarily high level of data security, since original raw data is always maintained within the system. The processing and evaluation of measured data is always carried out on copies of raw data.
The GUI (graphic user interface) facilitates daily operations with your data as well as concise structuring in hierarchical arrangements of measuring networks and building structures of any complexity.
Validation of Measured and Structural Data
Sophisticated graphic and table tools (ex. the extraordinary graphic data editor) are available for validation checks of your data, e.g. review, processing, and correction. Your measured data can run through automatic or manual tests and plausibility checks on entry into the system.
The following are among the available check criteria:
Limit value
Check for distance between values
Gradient (time + value distance)
Completeness
Periods (exceeding/undershooting admissible delivery amounts at certain times/periods)
Calibration (daily, monthly, annually)
Own validation algorithms (formula editor)
A seamless remark system with data regarding data quality, processing state, time, and method of data validation carried out is made available in order to conduct efficient and complete validations without wasting valuable time. Status monitoring with alarm function are also among the range of functions in our solutions.
Evaluation and Analysis of Measured and Structural Data
WISKI offers a multidisciplinary system with comprehensive hydrological and meteorological evaluation tools, which can process any of your measured and structural data.
Powerful calculation, analysis, visualisation, reporting as well as import and export functions are available for the assessment and analysis of data.
Statistical and assessment procedures and calculation rules (ex. extreme value statistics, duration curves, trend analyses, long-term values) of international standard may be integrated as well. Extensive regression analyses (linear and multiple) can be carried out over several segments and types.
Your own calculation algorithms can be integrated in the data processing through any formula to which your data is associated. Furthermore, WISKI offers an internal programming interface for project specific extensions.
Presentation of Measured and Statistical Data
Several tools are available for the presentation of your data:
Complex assessments (ex. graphs and reports) can be generated directly from a graphic interface.
Automatic and manual generation of graphs and reports for arbitrarily selectable time periods (ex. monthly and annual reports, dam security reports)
Forwarding, processing and integration of data or assessments in external formats (ex. MS Excel, PDF, RTF, BMP, JPG, PNG) or in any type of document (ex. Word file) is available.
Integration of environment maps, structural and overview plans or photos into the GUI
Direct interface for Web display (Internet and Intranet)
Direct connection to your Geographical Information System (GIS)
