At a time of rising energy costs determining the energy efficiency is important to improve the profitability of economic processes.
ProCoS EMS provides the necessary database for this application. The industrial plants will be included in the online energy meter reading in 1-minute intervals, other tube based media are often included as well, e.g. water, waste water, compressed air.
Process Interfaces
Due to a multitude of communication interfaces supported by the ProCoS system one can use different metering devices. This includes meters with M-bus (resp. DIN EN 62056-21 protocols) as well as the coupling of devices with (BACnet-)OPC-Server. The application of SAE meter reading systems will include the use of IEC 870-5-101/102/104 protocols.

Additional functions
The additional module ProCoS LCE allows the controlling of supply contracts (power, gas), if necessary.
ProCoS SCADA system as a basis and ProCoS EMS on top allows the controlling of superior grid and infrastructure. The necessary meter reading will be coupled either centralized or peripherally from existing automation systems or protection devices.
