Functions for the Water Supply

Network Control

Pipe Break Monitoring

Characteristic load curves will be calculated for the relevant measuring point (depeding on the type of day and based on archive values). Those will be used as set point curves. The user enters a range of tolerance for each set curve. If the current value of the measuring unit transgess the value in the set point curve, a corresponding alarm is set off.

Leakage Control

The leackage control allows to dedect sliding pipe burts. By defining the measuring value calculation the output amounts will be defined for the supply zones.

A Floating 7-day-average value will be calculated for all relevant supply quantities for times with only low supply (between 07 and 04 a.m.) on base of the 1/4 hours interval values over one day. Reports or graphics monitor these values thus providing the desired interpretation.produktewassergleitschnitt.jpg

Tendency Surveyance

The module tendency surveyance of the contents of a tank enables a rapid detection of a tank drainage. With this function the software will calculate the tendency as follows: The base area two measured tank values, taken at 15-minute, or alternatively on 60-minute intervals. The tank level may be monitored for the highest or the lowest limit values. If those are reached, various reactions will be triggered.

Tank Fill-Up During High Tariff (HT) Time

Normally, tanks will preferably be filled during Low Tariff (LT) time. Enhancing this modul ensures that the tank content does not sink too low during the HT-time. This is accomplished by refilling it, during HT-time, with only the necessary quantity.

For each tank one can define the minimum content level (per hour). These input values (chronologically dependent) will be compared with the current value levels. When the contents fall below the defined minimum value level, a number of different reactions can be triffered, e.g. accesssing pump (lines) to refill the tank until the marginal value has been exceeded or a local alarm has been triggered.
