the modules with systems from other manufacturers.
BelVis SODA AMI establishes a communication infrastructure and forms the interface to the different meters and data loggers which may be connected using modern protocols. It assumes control of the bidirectional communication with the intelligent multi-source meters over Multi Utility Communication (MUC, MUS) and combines them to form a head-end. In this way, the user is presented with a unified view of the different forms of on-location metering points.
Specialised for rapid processing of millions of metering points from various AMI systems, BelVis MDM handles the core tasks of a meter data management system. As a powerful central data hub, it unifies and carries out plausibility checks of metering data and generates replacement values. The proven BelVis EDM system uses the data prepared by the MDM system and carries out classical business processes in the deregulated energy market. Time series management forms the heart of the MDM system. KISTERS uses the KiTSM time series management system, designed for high volume workloads, to achieve the significant technological advantage required to tackle new challenges.
Consumption data can be communicated back to consumers using the Smart Metering Viewer BelVis SV. The rating engine (tariff projection), activatable in BelVis MDM, provides customers with their running consumption not only in kWh, but also in euros.
