We are pleased to present to you the results of our practical experience in many industrial projects, now also in the smart metering field, in the powerful form of BelVis SODA AMI. BelVis SODA AMI builds on BelVis SODA, which is used today by hundreds of customers in the power, gas and water fields, both domestically and internationally, with great success. This high level of acceptance is a reflection on its particularly high levels of performance:

bidirectional connection with various multi-source meters using intelligent Multi Utility Communication (MUC) and automatic linking with basic data at the control centre

The BelVis SODA AMI control centre is the interface to practically all smart metering solutions in the metering field capable of being connected over modern protocols. The requirements of the new metering service provider role are fulfilled over an interface for market communication.
Bidirectional communication
BelVis SODA AMI sends unified metering data to BelVis MDM and, in turn, accepts data and commands from MDM over a bidirectional communication connection, which it then forwards to the devices according to the appropriate basic data model. BelVis SODA AMI provides connectivity over the LPEX, ZRXP, MBUS and SML (Smart Meter Language) protocols.

These services are executed differently depending on the functionality offered by the addressed meter. The interface is flexible and features a modular design, making it possible to react to updated functionality offered by new meter deployments.
Measuring network management
In addition to services which address individual metering points or measuring station groups, BelVis SODA AMI provides support for maintaining an overview of the measuring network. Overviews of the status of metering points and the communication connections display where faults lie at all times. Together with the KISTERS AlarmManager, stand-by personnel will always become aware of any serious faults promptly.
Supported end devices
BelVis SODA AMI works together with devices and AMI head-ends from a range of manufacturers, including raconet (EMH GmbH), MUC (EMH GmbH, Görlitz and others), Meterus (EVB AG), TZA2020 (LN Systems), ZMF1.xx (Landis+Gyr) and MUS (T-Systems). Drivers already familiar from SODA ZFA are supported as well.
