BelVis WEB - The shop window for the end customer.
BelVis WEB
Specials
Your bulk customers always want exact consumption figures, but without the hassle or complexity of special software, a BelVis Client, or a database. This is the value added by BelVis WEB, because what could be more natural these days than online visualisation and data retrieval?
Of course, this is not necessarily true across the board for every customer and without any monitoring. Access can be set up on your web server for selected customers and selected extraction points.
Information is an important aspect of customer satisfaction. The only no-frills way to provide large amounts of information is over the Internet. Without the need for separate client software, the customer can track or even download his consumption data with ease using a standard web browser. BelVis WEB, a web server application, provides this important service. The polling side of BelVis WEB is integrated in the supplier’s website, where the end customer logs in with their user identification.
Made-to-measure information services
Using BelVis Web, you are able to offer your bulk customers made-to-measure information services to provide a rapid overview of their own usage behaviour, for both power and gas!
Daily, monthly and annual consumption figures can be selected in the form of time series graphs and summary tables.
Display of usage data is available in a range of time levels (year, month, day), in different resolutions (15 minutes, daily values) and separated by low and high tariff.
Customers with more than one extraction point are allocated “Regrouped Extraction Point” time series and aggregations.
For the purpose of further processing, the data is available for download in standard Excel TXT and CSV formats.
Pure security
BelVis WEB guarantees security through password protection and logging. You are responsible, after all, to ensure that a customer of the municipal utility company obtains access to their data and to their data only.
As the administrator you monitor customer access - also via web functions.
Passwords are stored in an encrypted authentication database, are transmitted in their encrypted state, and can be changed by the user at any time.
Session management protocols ensure that websites are only accessible following successful log-in.
BelVis WEB determines which type of user is logging in and makes the permitted GUI functions and data view rights available. New features in BelVis WEB 2 include the user types collective customer, contractor, account manager and colleague.
User actions are registered in session management after logging on.
The system logs off automatically after a period of inactivity, in order to prevent unauthorised access.
Flexible to use - Simple to operate
Quite simply, BelVis WEB is customer care made easy
BelVis WEB can be geared entirely to your customers! The database version features advanced functions, such as the flexible data-recall facility for all extraction points accessible to the user, different types of graphs, free time range input, even extending into the future, and calculation of total consumption for any period. Several clients are also possible.
BelVis WEB is multilingual. The required language can also be set during the session.
BelVis WEB can be integrated easily in your existing web presence and has stood the test of time in prevalent web server environments, such as Apache, PHP, PostgreSQL and Oracle, as well as under various operating systems.
