Consumption forecasting The consumption forecast function is based on the previously described artificial neural networks (KNN) technology.
Cost optimisation Based on the forecast consumption, the optimisation function prepares an operation plan for gas storage facilities as well as switching suggestions for switchable individual loads. The result is shown as a dispatching recommendation on the monitor or automatically executed over telecontrol systems.
Functions for water networks
Consumption forecasting The consumption forecast function is based on the previously described artificial neural networks (KNN) technology.
Water leak analysis The quantities conveyed over transport pipelines are compared to prepare a leak analysis, assuming it is possible to measure the flows at both ends of the line. Leak analyses are carried out in the supply network at night during periods of low demand by checking the defined base consumption values of individual supply areas.
Well level monitoring In order to statistically evaluate the influence of pumping operations on groundwater levels, the water levels of all the pumping wells are cyclically measured. These results can be used to determine the possible effects on the groundwater, in particular, any level dropping as a result of pumping operations.
Pump optimisation As a supplement to load optimisation, the system also controls pumps in the waterworks. The system switches well and tank pumps in line with electricity consumption and measures storage tank levels.
District-heating network functions
Consumption forecasting This function is used to optimise the operation of cogeneration stations. Due to consumption behaviour similar to that of gas networks, the same mathematical method is applied here.
State determination Determination of feed temperatures for the provision of heat energy and pipeline loss calculation.
